Katherine Kirby

Katherine Kirby is an experienced professional with a diverse background in legislative support, crisis intervention, community organizing, and campaign management. Since June 2021, Katherine has served as a Legislative Assistant at the North Carolina General Assembly while concurrently volunteering and interning at InterAct of Wake. Previous roles include Research Associate at The Mellinger Group, Co-Director and Fellow at New Leaders Council, and Campaign Manager for Sarah For NC. Katherine has also worked as a Public Affairs Specialist and Community Organizer for Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, alongside various retail positions. Katherine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Women's and Gender Studies from North Carolina State University.
