Lisa Stifler is an accomplished legal and policy expert currently serving as Chief of Staff and General Counsel for the North Carolina General Assembly since January 2025, after previously holding the position of Deputy Chief of Staff and General Counsel from November 2021 to October 2024. Stifler's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at the Center for Responsible Lending from February 2012 to November 2021, where roles included Vice President and Director of State Policy, Deputy Director of State Policy, Senior Policy Counsel, and Policy Counsel.
