Tom Taylor

Tom Taylor is an experienced information security and network systems professional, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Network Systems Architect at the North Carolina General Assembly since March 1995. Taylor also held the position of Network Systems Manager within the same organization. Prior to this, Taylor worked as a Computer Engineer at Memorex Telex Nederland NV from January 1983 to March 1995. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, earned between 1978 and 1982. Taylor's credentials include certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
