An experienced painter in various mediums, Cummings has operated independently as an artist since 1997 and has held prior positions in assistance roles within educational and health organizations. Cummings holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Design with a focus on Graphic Design from North Carolina State College of Design, obtained between 1986 and 1991.
