Allison Blackman

Allison Blackman serves as the Absentee by Mail Program Specialist and Election Specialist at the North Carolina State Board of Elections since July 2015, focusing on designing curriculum and developing training materials for election officials, along with presenting at conferences and webinars. Previously, Allison held the position of Election Training Specialist at Wake County from July 2010 to July 2015, managing training for up to 2,000 election officials and mentoring trainers. Earlier experience includes a role as Sr. Marketing Analyst at Hatteras Yachts where responsibilities involved event support, sponsorship acquisition, and CRM system development, as well as an internship/consultant position with Paddy Power Betfair on a consulting project. Allison holds a Master's in Business Administration from Trinity College Dublin and a BA in Theatre Arts and Communications from East Carolina University.
