Mackenzie McCoy is a Wildlife Biologist II at NCASI, Inc. since April 2020, focusing on surveying and collecting demographic and habitat data on the red tree vole as part of a dedicated team. Prior experience includes serving as a WCGOP Observer with Alaskan Observers, Inc., where data was collected on bycatch and discard aboard commercial fishing vessels, and working as a Volunteer Research Assistant at Mana Island Scientific Reserve, aiding in gecko tracking studies. Additional experience includes guiding rafting trips at Kenai River Drifters Lodge and volunteering at Paige Wildlife Center. Mackenzie is pursuing a Master of Science in Wildlife Science at Oregon State University, building on a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
