Tanvir Khan is a Project Leader and Sr. Research Engineer at NCASI, Inc. since April 2022, focusing on research that enhances the forest products industry's understanding of air quality, emissions measurement, air modeling, and environmental justice issues. Prior to this role, Tanvir was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at FSEC® from July 2018 to April 2022, working on indoor air quality and mechanical ventilation in new homes in the southeastern U.S. Tanvir's experience also includes a position as a Visiting Air Quality Scientist at the Desert Research Institute in late 2015, where work involved parameterizing atmosphere-surface exchange processes for elemental mercury. Tanvir holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University, a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
