Danny Brown

Danny Brown is an experienced security consultant with a focus on application security, infrastructure, network security, and secure code review, currently serving as an Executive Principal Consultant at NCC Group since March 2016. Prior to this role, Danny held the position of Director at MDSec, providing consulting and training in IT security across multiple regions. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Pentura as Head of Research, NGSSecure as Principal Security Consultant, and NGS as Senior Security Consultant, where responsibilities involved vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. Danny’s earlier career includes a significant role at the Ministry of Defense for vulnerability analysis of IT systems. Educational background includes attendance at Rhodesway School in Bradford from 1990 to 1993.
