Derek Price

Derek Price has extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT, currently serving as an Executive Principal at NCC Group since December 2011, where various roles have included Principal Cyber Engineer and Principal Security Consultant. In addition to this position, Derek is a Parent Governor at The Gates Primary School since March 2020. Previous roles include Linux Systems Administrator and Technical Support Consultant at Zen Internet Limited from April 2008 to December 2011, with a focus on maintaining reliable ISP services and providing customer support. Earlier experience includes serving as a Server Technician at Culcheth High School, facilitated through Warrington Borough Council. Derek holds a BSc (Hons) in Internet Communications and Networks from The University of Bolton, completing studies in 2008.
