Thomas Cannon

Thomas Cannon is an accomplished professional in mobile application security with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently, at NCC Group since June 2014, Thomas serves as the Global Practice Lead for Mobile Application Security, in addition to holding the position of Executive Principal Consultant and previously Principal Consultant. Prior to this role, involvement with NowSecure from July 2011 to June 2014 as Director of Research and Development spotlighted expertise in mobile security research and penetration testing. Thomas's career began at Aviva, where as Information Security Officer from February 2003 to July 2011, significant contributions were made to information risk management within a leading UK insurance firm. Early experience at IBM UK included roles as NFT Team Leader, NFT Technical Specialist, and Technical Analyst (Intern) from 2000 to 2001.
