Kaylene Smith is a Senior Workforce Development Manager with extensive experience in apprenticeship and workforce alignment. Previously, they served as the Director of Apprenticeship and Work-based Learning at Ivy Tech Community College from 2018 to 2022 and directed apprenticeship initiatives at the Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana from 2010 to 2013. Kaylene's career also includes roles in pollution control and emergency preparedness with the Fort Wayne Allen County Department of Health. They earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources from Ball State University in 1990.
