Amalor Pavanathan

Amalor Pavanathan is a financial expert consultant currently serving as an Independent Director at both NCDEX and SBM Bank (India), as well as an Expert Member of the Commodity Derivative Advisory Committee at SEBI. Previously, they held significant roles including Deputy Managing Director at NABARD, where they oversaw business development of a US$ 78 billion balance sheet, and Chairman of NABKISAN Finance Ltd., helping it become the largest credit supplier to startups in the agribusiness sector in India. With a robust background in banking and finance, they have also contributed as a Director on the board of MCX Ltd. and as a training faculty at the Bankers Institute of Rural Development. Amalor earned a distinction in CAIIB and is recognized for their expertise in rural economics, both in India and abroad.
