Satish Sahane

Satish Sahane has over 18 years of experience in the field of human resources. Satish started their career as an Executive in HR at Bhansali Engineering Polymers Ltd in June 2003 and worked there until September 2005. Satish then joined Sulphur Mills Ltd as an Officer in HRD, where they handled various responsibilities such as manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, and payroll processing. Satish worked at Sulphur Mills Ltd until January 2007.

After that, they joined Anand Rathi Securities Ltd as an Assistant Manager in HR, where they managed HR functions for the South Zone. Satish was responsible for recruitment and selection, salary parity, induction, and onboarding of new employees, among other responsibilities. However, they only worked at Anand Rathi Securities Ltd for a brief period from January 2007 to October 2007.

Next, Satish joined IDBI Capital Market Services Limited in October 2007 as a Senior Executive in HR. Satish was promoted to Deputy Manager in June 2010 and then to Manager in April 2013. Satish'srole at IDBI involved handling HR functions and responsibilities such as recruitment, employee records maintenance, performance management, and statutory compliance. Satish worked at IDBI Capital Market Services Limited until August 2013.

Satish's most recent position was Senior Vice President of HR at NCDEX, where they were responsible for HR strategic planning and budgeting. Satish joined NCDEX as Senior Manager in HR in August 2013 and was promoted to Assistant Vice President in October 2016 and Vice President in October 2018. Satish'scurrent role as Senior Vice President began in April 2023.

Satish Sahane completed their Master of Labour Studies (MLS) with a specialization in Human Resource Management from the Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies in the years 2001-2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Pune during 1994-1997. Additionally, Satish Sahane has obtained various certifications including Organizational Development from TISS & ODA, Assessor for CII-National HR Excellence Award from the Confederation of Indian Industry, and certifications in HR Analytics and Total Rewards from Aon Hewitt Asia.
