Linda Bergeron, P.E., CCPSC®, F.AIChE, has extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Fellows Council Chair at AIChE since August 2015 and holding various roles within the organization, including membership in the CCPSC Exam Committee and serving as an officer for the Bylaws Review Subcommittee under the Local Sections Committee. Linda has been active with NCEES since May 2008 as Southern Zone Secretary and as a volunteer for the Chemical Professional Engineering (PE) Exam Development. As a board member of the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board since October 2020, Linda's previous experience includes senior process engineering at Occidental Chemical Corporation from July 1990 to January 2022 and process engineering roles at Hargrove Engineers & Constructors and Sigma Engineers and Constructors. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and a Master’s in Engineering Management from Penn State University.

NCEES (the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors. It develops, administers, and scores the examinations used for engineering and surveying licensure in the United States. It also facilitates professional mobility and promotes uniformity of the U.S. licensure processes through services for its member licensing boards and licensees. These services include the records program, study materials, credentials evaluations, exam administration, and more. The Council’s members are the engineering and surveying licensure boards from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
