Richard Tate

Richard Tate has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Richard currently serves as the Head of Financial Insight and Reporting at NCFE since August 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Data Insight Manager at MHA Tait Walker from October 2019 to August 2021. In this position, they delivered Business Intelligence solutions to various clients, utilizing Power BI, Python, and R for analytics. Richard also held the position of Senior Analyst at Avicenna from May 2019 to October 2019, where they implemented a Business Intelligence reporting platform and designed a PostgreSQL data warehouse. Before that, they worked as a BI Developer at Start Fitness UK from December 2018 to April 2019, developing a BI platform for sales and profitability analysis. Richard's earlier experience includes roles as Director and Financial Controller at A&J Scott Ltd, where they led business development, investment strategies, and financial reporting. Richard also served as an Accountant and Graduate Trainee Accountant at Jardine Motors Group.

Richard Tate completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy at Northumbria University from 1997 to 2001. Richard then pursued their Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification from 2001 to 2004, obtaining the FCCA degree in Accounting. Finally, Richard achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing and IT with a specialization in Data Science from The Open University, which they completed in 2018.
