Nch’ḵaỷ Development Corporation
Andrew Charney currently serves as the Director of Asset Management at Nch’ḵay̓ Development Corporation since April 2025, while also being the Founder of Third Beach North Corp, which specializes in real estate investment and consulting since February 2020. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Residential Asset Management at Peterson Real Estate and various positions at CAPREIT, including Associate Director and Senior Operations Manager. Notably, Andrew was the first CAPREIT employee in the Netherlands, where responsibilities included liaising with local asset managers and assisting in team-building efforts. Educational qualifications include an Executive MSc in Cities from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a BA in European Studies from the University of Guelph, and immersive studies in Spanish at both Universidad de Salamanca and Universidad de La Rioja.

Nch’ḵaỷ Development Corporation
Nch’ḵay̓ was established in 2018 as the economic development arm of the Squamish Nation. Its mandate is to develop, manage and own the active businesses of the Nation, and was created to allow for the separation of business and politics within the Squamish Nation. The name Nch’ḵay̓ was chosen as a reference to the Great Flood – the flood that forced Squamish Nation ancestors to tie their canoes to the highest mountain in the territory, Mount Garibaldi, in order to survive.
