Gayan Sahabandu is an experienced professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as a Solutions Architect at NCINGA since January 2023. Previously, Gayan held roles including Cyber Security Lead at Optus, Senior Security Consultant at AKATI Sekurity, and Manager of Network Infrastructure, Information Security & Governance at Ceylon Biscuits Limited. Gayan's expertise encompasses conducting information systems audits in compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and PCIDSS, leading technical security assessments, and strategizing IT security programs. Earlier experience includes significant positions at MAS Holdings, where Gayan managed information security and network functions, as well as IT support roles at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and Shelter UK. Gayan holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Networks from the University of East London.
