Scott Mooneyham is currently the Director of Political Communication and Coordination at the NC League of Municipalities, a position held since 2014. Prior to this, they served as an Editor and Columnist for The Insider from 2004 to 2022 and worked as a Reporter for the Associated Press from 1996 to 2004, as well as for the Fayetteville Observer from 1993 to 1996. Scott is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English at North Carolina State University.
