Kayla Thomas

Kayla Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kayla began their career as a Marketing & Fan Engagement Intern at the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010. Kayla then interned as a Sports Medicine Intern at Missouri Western State University and later as a Recreational Services Intern. Kayla joined Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative in 2011, where they met with clients to determine their financial needs and provide retirement planning services. Kayla then worked at Cerner Corporation as an Analyst, delivering production support for clients using the company's Electronic Medical Record software. In 2013, they became a Health Management Assistant at Heartland Health, where they coordinated care between clinics and performed various administrative tasks. Additionally, they joined Camp Mihaska Retreat & Conference Center in 2014 as an Assistant Camp Director & Marketing Coordinator, responsible for sales and marketing efforts. Kayla later transitioned to NCM Associates, first as a Meeting & Event Coordinator, planning and executing business meetings and consulting meetings. Kayla then became a Software Education Specialist, providing training and performance management for clients using NCM Software Solutions' products. Currently, Kayla holds the position of Sales Consultant at NCM Associates, where they build and closes business relationships and manages the sales process.

Kayla Thomas attended Central High School from 2004 to 2008. After graduating from high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Sports Management from Missouri Western State University from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Lifeguard Management from the American Red Cross in June 2014 and in First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in May 2014.
