Lauri Mak, MBA

Lauri Mak, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Lauri currently serves as the Director of Financial Reporting at NCM Associates since May 2019. Prior to this, Lauri worked for DataFile Technologies from December 2014 to May 2019, where they established the company's accounting department and implemented accounting policies and procedures. Lauri was also responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Before joining DataFile Technologies, Lauri worked at Kansas City Southern Railroad from February 2008 to September 2014 as the Accounting Manager - Subsidiary Accounting. In this role, they managed financial reporting and oversaw budgeting and forecasting for subsidiary divisions. Lauri also developed and managed the equity pickup program for the consolidation of financial reports.

Lauri's earlier experience includes working at Cohen-Esrey Real Estate Services, LLC as the VP Director of Financial Services from August 2005 to February 2008. Lauri prepared financial reports for multiple divisions and handled corporate budget and overhead allocations. Additionally, they negotiated tax incentive programs and administered quarterly reporting.

Before joining Cohen-Esrey, Lauri worked at lock\line Insurance as the Division Controller from June 2001 to August 2005. Lauri established the accounting department and was responsible for annual budgeting and forecasting, as well as developing accounting policies and controls.

Lauri began their career as a Financial Reporting Specialist at MHC in 1999.

Lauri Mak, MBA, pursued their education in a systematic manner. Lauri commenced their academic journey in 1995 and successfully completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Accounting at Park University in 1997. Afterward, they took a break from their studies and resumed them in 2012. During this period, Lauri attended Ottawa University, from where they attained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2013.
