Richard Weiss has extensive experience in the field of Intellectual Property (IP). Richard currently holds the position of Vice President, Chief IP, CTO and Technology Counsel at NCR Voyix, where they are responsible for all aspects of IP, including IP strategy, patent preparation, licensing, and defense. Prior to this role, they had similar responsibilities as Vice President, Chief IP & CTO Counsel at NCR Corporation. Richard also served as Deputy IP Counsel at Nortel and Senior IP Counsel at Philips. Early in their career, they worked as an Associate in IP at White & Case LLP, specializing in patent litigation and preparation.
Richard Weiss completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Duke University in 1987. Richard then pursued a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School, where they attended from 1987 to 1990.
