Michael Tan

Michael Tan serves as the Senior Partner & Strategy Lead for Gov+ at NCS Group since February 2024. Prior to this role, Michael was a Managing Director and Partner at The Boston Consulting Group from 2008 to 2024, where leadership of the Public Sector Practice in Southeast Asia involved extensive work with Singapore and regional governments. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as Center Director in Los Angeles for the Singapore Economic Development Board from 2005 to 2007, managing relationships with multinational corporations across Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Michael also worked as an Industry Officer at the Singapore Economic Development Board from 2001 to 2004, promoting business growth and foreign direct investment in Singapore. Academic credentials include an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master's in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, along with a recent completion of the Climate & Sustainability Stewardship Programme at Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2023.
