Vance Tan is a software engineer currently with NCS Group, where Vance has been involved in client collaboration with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), developing a front-end for ICA's internal cargo screening system using Typescript, React, and Next.js, as well as maintaining the legacy appointment-booking system with Java 8 and Java Server Pages. Previous experience includes serving as a Technical Development Lead at Urban Origins and completing a software engineering internship at Singtel. Vance holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems Technology and Design from the Singapore University of Technology and Design, along with a GCE A Levels in the Humanities Programme from Hwa Chong Institution and participation in the Stanford Summer International Honors Program.
