Brock Gillis

Brock Gillis has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Brock began their career as a Mechanical Project Engineer at NewPage Corporation in 2008, where they worked on various projects and conducted mechanical design and FEA work. In 2011, Gillis joined Memorial University of Newfoundland as a Lead Design Engineer, working on the Advanced Drilling Technology Project and managing its development. Brock later took on the role of Project Manager for the same project. In 2014, Gillis joined NCS Multistage, initially serving as a Research and Development Engineer and later becoming the Engineering Team Lead for Research and Development.

Brock Gillis has a Master's degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, obtained in 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in different fields such as oil field drilling, fiber optic training, first aid instruction, lean six sigma, lifeguarding, crane training, and machinery safeguarding.
