James Furukawa

James Furukawa, P.Eng., is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Product Specialist at NCS Multistage since February 2017. With a background that includes roles as a Frac Systems Applications Engineer, Regional Technical Services Manager, and Technical Service Engineer at the same company, James has developed significant expertise in product development and technical support. Prior to this, James gained valuable experience as a Well Services Engineering Summer Student at Packers Plus, where responsibilities included preparing calculations for proposals, assisting in well designs, analyzing test results, and compiling operational data. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana and a Diploma in Petroleum Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
