Dave Fourie

Dave Fourie has a strong background in finance with extensive experience in managerial roles. Dave began their career as a Management Accountant at Dorbyl Marine in 1991 before moving on to become a Financial Manager at NCS Resins (Pty) Ltd. in 1993. From 1999 to 2001, they served as the Group Financial Manager at TURNERS SHIPPING. In 2002, they joined Sun international - Sibaya Casino as a Financial Manager, where they played a key role in managing the financial aspects of the casino and entertainment complex. In 2008, they became the Financial Director at NCS South Africa (Pty) Ltd. and later took on the same role at Ferro South Africa (Pty) Ltd. in 2016. Throughout their career, Dave Fourie has demonstrated strong financial leadership and expertise in various industries.

Dave Fourie's education history begins in 1979 when they attended Pinetown Boys' High School. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Compt at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 1984 to 1987, specializing in Accounts & Auditing. In 1988, they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Compt degree from the same institution, with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Dave then attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1992, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Accounting. In 1993, they pursued the ACMA qualification at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Finally, in 1999, Dave completed their Chartered Accountant degree at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, specializing in Accounting and Finance.
