Daniel Francis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in charity governance and organizational development. As Principal Consultant at NCVO since March 2016, Daniel leads a multidisciplinary training and consultancy team and previously held roles as Lead Consultant and Senior Governance Consultant, delivering high-impact consultancy and training across England. Prior to NCVO, Daniel served as Interim Chief Operations Officer at Aberystwyth University Students' Union, facilitating significant organizational change, and worked with the National Union of Students (UK) for nearly six years in various capacities focused on governance and development support. Daniel's early career included a role as Community Organizer at Swansea University and as Vice President (Welfare and Societies) of the University of Southampton Students' Union. Daniel holds a Certificate in Charity Law and Governance from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland and a BSc (Hons) in Politics from the University of Southampton.
