Rachel Cooper

Rachel Cooper is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the charitable sector. Currently a Finance Trainer at NCVO since January 2023, Rachel is also a Co-Founder of the Small Charity Friendly Collective, which supports small charities through collaboration with specialists. Rachel’s roles have included Principal at Welbeck and Associate at Embrace Finance, along with Finance Lead positions at both the Fawcett Society and Agenda, alliance for women and girls at risk. Rachel has served as a Finance Consultant/Trainer for the Small Charities Coalition and has a rich academic background from the University of Warwick and Solent University, where Rachel has held positions such as Faculty Accountant at the University of Southampton and Associate Lecturer at Solent University. Early career experience includes strategic and operational development at The Institute of Cancer Research, contributing to significant infrastructure changes during a period of growth.
