Thomas Danford

Thomas Danford currently serves as the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at North Dakota University System since 2024. Prior to this role, Danford held various leadership positions, including Senior Principal Strategic Specialist and Interim Chief Information Officer at Ellucian, Program Manager at Anthology Inc, and Senior IT Executive/CIO at CampusWorks, Inc. Danford was also the Chief Information Officer for the Tennessee Board of Regents, overseeing one of the largest public higher education systems in the nation. Further contributions include founding the Tennessee Summit on Administrative Computing Technologies and serving as Associate Provost and CIO at the University of Dayton. Educational qualifications include a JD in Law from Ohio Northern University, an MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, and a BA in Chemistry from the University of Dayton.
