Sumalya Dasgupta

Sumalya Dasgupta is an experienced media professional with a strong background in production and operations. Currently serving as Executive Producer for Special Projects at NDTV, Sumalya focuses on event operations and branded content. Previously, Sumalya held the position of Vice President Operations at India Fashion Awards. With roles at the European Business and Technology Centre as Lead for Project Communications and Event and Communication Advisor, as well as various senior production positions at NDTV, Shop CJ India, and Bloomberg TV India, Sumalya has developed expertise in live broadcasting, event management, and show production. Sumalya holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity School of Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in English Honours from Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi University.
