Sylvia Wolak

Sylvia Wolak is a Corporate & Securities Associate at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, having previously served as a Summer Associate at the same firm. Sylvia's legal experience includes a position with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as part of the Student Honors Program and significant work with the City of Chicago, focusing on infrastructure credit agreements, litigation support, and cannabis zoning laws. Notable roles also include coordinating pro bono immigration projects at the National Immigrant Justice Center and conducting legal research for ComEd’s Smart Grid Programs. Sylvia has extensive teaching experience as a lecturer at the University of Illinois at Chicago and has served as an English Teaching Assistant in Madrid. Sylvia holds a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in English and Political Science from the University of Illinois.
