Bernardo Perez de Lara

Bernardo Perez de Lara has a long history of work experience. Bernardo began their career in 1984 as a Development Manager for Software Engineering at ROLM. In 1990, they joined Adobe Systems as a Computer Scientist in the Advanced Technology Group, where they were responsible for the performance test and enhancements to PostScript Level II. Bernardo also authored the Acrobat Forms plug-in. In 1998, they joined Active Software as Principal and CTO, managing the team that delivered EAI vertical solutions with partners. In 2000, they became VP Platform Technology at webMethods, where they managed the team of evangelists and developers that worked with partners in the implementation of Business-to-Business vertical solutions. In 2001, they joined QoS Labs as VP Product Development. In 2002, they joined BEA Systems as Sr. Director Product Solutions, working with strategic customers on their Service Oriented Architecture transformation. In 2008, they became CEO of Near BPO, a software development organization that creates custom solutions and provides staff augmentation for companies in Mexico and the United States. Bernardo also became a Member of Board at TKM Customer Solutions, a Mexican enterprise that provides contact center outsourcing solutions. In 2011, they founded weGift.it, a group giving and gifting social network. In 2012, they founded Corpfolder, an online application for the organized storage of digital fiscal receipts.

Bernardo Perez de Lara completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México between 1977 and 1982. Bernardo then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Oxford from 1982 to 1983.
