Mohamed Yarrow

Mohamed Yarrow serves as the Executive Director at the Centre for Peace and Democracy since February 2013, where practical experience in managing humanitarian and development programs in complex environments is emphasized. Alongside this role, Mohamed is the Programme Director at the NEAR (Network for Empowered Aid Response) and a Member of the Leadership Council, contributing strategic guidance and oversight of financial commitments. Previous positions include Chairman of the Board of Directors at Nexus Om, Senior Consultant for the UN-Joint Programme for Local Governance/STIPA, Program Advisor at STIPA, and Consultant for the National Civic Forum. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Mount Kenya University.
