Rachel R. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications, fundraising, and program management. Currently serving as a Communications and Fundraising Consultant at NEAR since November 2024, Rachel previously held multiple leadership roles at Adeso, including Director of Business Development and Marketing, Director of Programs and Operations, and Interim Director of Programs from September 2021 to November 2024. Earlier positions include Director of Marketing and Communications at The Arc of Loudoun and Community Outreach Instructor at the Town of Leesburg's Parks and Recreation Department. Rachel began a career in program management with Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA as a Program Manager for Food Security and Livelihoods Programs. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Environment, Development, and Policy from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from George Mason University.
