Michael Berger

Michael Berger, CPA, is an accomplished finance professional with a diverse background in accounting and financial leadership. Currently, Michael serves as the Founder of Paperweight and the Director of Finance at Nearby Creative while also holding the position of Finance Director at Adduco Communications. Michael has over nine years of experience in various financial roles, including founding The Clock Reads, where musical talents as a bassist complement entrepreneurial skills. Past roles include board member at Brew House Association, accountant at Proofpoint during the acquisition of Wombat Security Technologies, and staff accountant at Wombat Security. Michael's early career included significant auditing experience at KPMG US, where key audits were performed across multiple industries, and an internship at FINANTA providing accounting support. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pittsburgh, along with an enriching educational experience at CEA Global Education in Florence, Italy.
