Lefteris Paraskevas

Lefteris Paraskevas has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Lefteris currently serves as the Technical Director at NearForm since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Development Manager at Amazon from October 2018 to June 2021. From December 2016 to October 2018, they held the position of Software Engineering Manager at Salesforce. Lefteris also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Salesforce from April 2014 to December 2016. Lefteris briefly worked as a Lead Angular.js Developer at Eurostar in early 2014. Additionally, they held multiple roles at Capgemini, starting as a Software Engineer Lead from September 2011 to April 2014 and later as a Technical Lead from April 2013 to December 2013. Lefteris also worked at Burberry as a Front End Developer from April 2012 to April 2013, as a Lead Software Developer from April 2012 to September 2012, and as a Lead Test Analyst from September 2011 to April 2012. Their career started at OTE, where they worked in Customer Service and Troubleshooting from March 2007 to March 2008.

Lefteris Paraskevas has a diverse education background in computer science, information technology, and engineering. Starting from 2003 to 2009, they attended Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Following this, from 2010 to 2011, Lefteris attended The University of Manchester, where they earned an MSc in Advanced Computer Science and IT Management.

In addition to their formal education, Lefteris Paraskevas has also obtained certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In July 2013, they became a MongoDB Certified Developer through MongoDB certification program. Likewise, in March 2013, they achieved the Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer certification offered by salesforce.com.
