Luca Lanziani has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Luca started their career as a Vice President of Tulug (LUG), a Linux Users' Group, where they provided support and education for Linux users. Luca then worked as a Software Engineer at Università degli Studi Roma Tre, where they designed and developed software for the SAETTA project, focusing on robotic swarm technology. Luca co-founded Grapily, a web platform for writing HTML5 applications, and later worked as a Software Engineer at FileRock, where they contributed to the development of an open-source client. At Smarkets, Luca worked as a back-end engineer and DevOps, managing the company's infrastructure. Most recently, they have held several roles at NearForm, including Senior Software Engineer, Lead Technical Architect, Technical Director, and Head of DevOps and Platform Engineering. In these positions, they were responsible for leading accounts, delivering projects, finding new opportunities, and advising as a senior technical leader. Luca worked closely with NearForm's customers to align their technology vision with the software solutions delivered by the company.

Luca Lanziani began their education in 1997 at ITIS Leonardo Da Vinci in Viterbo, where they studied Computer Science until 2001. Luca then attended Università degli studi Roma TRE from 2004 to 2007, earning a 1st level degree in Information Technology. Continuing their education at the same institution, Luca completed a 2nd level degree in Computer Engineering from 2007 to 2010.
