Brett Tully

Brett Tully is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of AI at Nearmap since September 2019, Brett leads the Output Data and Applications team, focusing on large-scale deep learning model implementation. Previous roles include Group Leader for Software Engineering at the Children's Medical Research Institute, where Brett was involved in the ProCan translational research program, and General Manager of ProCan at First Light Fusion, contributing to innovative fusion power generation technologies. Brett's earlier career includes positions in consultancy, investment management, and academia, with a DPhil in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oxford and dual bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Queensland.
