Kirsten Grimes

Kirsten Grimes is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in content strategy and communications. Currently serving as the Industry Marketing Manager for Commercial (North America) at Nearmap since August 2022, Kirsten has previously held roles including Communications and Content Strategy Lead and Marketing Content Writer at Ruekert & Mielke, Inc., as well as Marketing Writer at the Illinois Credit Union League. Additional experience includes serving as Marketing Communications Writer for the Illinois Mental Health Counselor Association and teaching courses in English and Humanities at Kishwaukee College. Kirsten began their academic journey as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northern Illinois University, where responsibilities included instructing First-Year Composition. Kirsten holds both a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on Creative Writing from Northern Illinois University.
