Martin Greenhalgh has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Martin started their career at Micross Computers Ltd. as a Senior Developer from October 1985 to August 1990. After that, they worked at Hintonbrook Ltd. as a Technical Director from September 1990 to February 1992, followed by a role as a Technical Director at First Outdoor Systems Ltd. from February 1992 to February 1995.

Martin then joined Buy As You View, where they held various positions. Martin was an IT Manager from April 1997 to April 2000, then became the IT Director from April 2000 to February 2014. Their responsibilities included leading in-house technology teams, implementing outsourced managed services contracts, and overseeing infrastructure, software development, business intelligence, and technical support for the national specialist lender.

In 2014, Martin took on the role of Director of Business Architecture at Buy As You View until August 2015. Following that, they worked at Link Financial Outsourcing as a Development Manager from April 2016 to November 2016. During this time, they managed a team of Oracle Developers and Testers, primarily focusing on system change requests in a regulated and audited data secure environment.

Since 2015, Martin has also owned their own business called SQL Star Ltd., specializing in custom application design, support, and development, with expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server.

Most recently, Martin has been the Chief Technology Officer at NearMeNowApp since August 2017.

Martin Greenhalgh attended Porthcawl Comprehensive School from 1979 to 1984. During their time there, they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. In addition to their formal education, Martin obtained several certifications later in their career. In April 2021, they completed the Change Management Foundation certification from APMG International. Following this, in May 2021, they obtained the Change Management Practitioner certification from the same institution. Prior to these certifications, Martin had already achieved the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from APMG International in October 2018.
