Evan Borden

Evan Borden is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Nearpod since February 2023. Previously, Evan held positions at Freckle by Renaissance as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer from January 2017 to February 2023. Prior to that, Evan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at skedge.me from August 2014 to November 2016, and as an Application Developer at Union Street Media from June 2008 to August 2014, focusing on the development and maintenance of the real estate platform and web app with an emphasis on usability in both front-end and back-end design. Earlier experience includes serving as the Marketing Manager and Voter Education Organizer at The Center for Service and Civic Engagement from September 2006 to June 2008. Evan earned a degree in Web Site Development and Management, IT from Champlain College in 2009.
