NearSat
Byron Bignoux is a Research and Development Engineer at AIM Defence since 2023, where the focus is on ultra-compact high-power laser systems with advanced AI tracking to enhance the protection of Australia and its allies. Additionally, Byron co-founded NearSat in 2017, serving as Chief Technology Officer, and is involved in creating a constellation of solar-powered platforms for real-time Earth imagery, allowing users to task the constellation for specific missions. Byron holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Sydney, obtained in 2016.
