NearSat
Sherard Kueh is a Research and Development Engineer at AIM Defence since March 2023, where the focus is on creating ultra-compact high-power laser systems with advanced AI for countering UAS threats. Sherard is also a Co-Founder of NearSat, established in 2017, which is dedicated to building a constellation of high altitude, solar-powered platforms for real-time Earth imagery. Sherard holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Sydney, earned from February 2012 to June 2016.
