Jayhyuk Choi

Jayhyuk Choi has worked as the CEO & Co-founder of Nearthlab since March 2015. Nearthlab is a tech startup that focuses on autonomous drone solutions for industrial uses, specifically developing an end-to-end inspection solution for wind turbine blades. They provide their inspection technology to wind turbine OEMs, wind farm operators, and O&M companies across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific regions. Before that, Jayhyuk worked as a Process Control & System Engineer at Doosan Enerbility from December 2011 to March 2015. During their time there, they developed and commissioned Instrumentation and Controls systems for thermal and nuclear power plants.

Jayhyuk Choi received a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Jayhyuk then pursued a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same university, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
