Gompo Tashi

Gompo Tashi is currently serving as the Associate Director of Compliance at Nearwater Capital since December 2024. Previously, Gompo held several progressive positions at the National Futures Association, culminating as Senior Compliance Examiner II from June 2021 to December 2024. Gompo has also demonstrated leadership as President of Kappa Sigma Fraternity from January 2020 to May 2021, focusing on academic support and mentorship initiatives. Additional experience includes roles as a Business Development Intern at Carbonbase and Breakthrough New York, along with an earlier internship in compliance at the National Futures Association and a development internship at Cause Effective. Gompo holds a Master's degree in Finance from Baruch College and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from Hunter College, along with additional academic credentials in Finance.
