Thomas O'Sullivan

Thomas O'Sullivan is the Frank M. Freimann Collegiate Professor of Biomedical Electronics, specializing in biomedical optical imaging and tissue optics. They completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, followed by a Master’s and PhD from Stanford University. O'Sullivan has held various positions, including Assistant Professor and Director of Postdoctoral Studies at the University of Notre Dame, and has contributed to multiple clinical studies in optical imaging at the Beckman Laser Institute. O'Sullivan is also a co-founder of NearWave, focusing on innovative medical technologies.
