Cerys Smith

Cerys Smith is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council since September 2022. Prior to this role, Cerys worked as a Healthcare Assistant at Lloyd's Pharmacy for nearly eight years and held positions as a Sales Assistant at Tesco and Aberystwyth University Students' Union. Cerys also gained valuable experience as a Student Ambassador at Aberystwyth University, promoting the institution and its Geography and Earth Sciences department. A brief stint as a Data Assistant at AWEL AMAN TAWE provided exposure to the environmental sector. Cerys holds a PGCE in Geography from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and an MSc in International Planning and Development from Cardiff University, in addition to a BSc in Geography from Aberystwyth University.
