César García

Community Organizer - Immigrants & Communities Program at Nebraska Appleseed

César García is an experienced community organizer with a strong background in immigrant advocacy and program leadership. Currently serving as a Community Organizer for Nebraska Appleseed since August 2018, César collaborates with immigrant leaders and community partners to enhance leadership capacity and develop advocacy skills. Previous roles include Operations Specialist at OneWorld Community Health Centers, where César managed communications and patient education, and Adjunct Professor at Universidad de las Américas, teaching World History and International Geography. Additionally, César co-founded Arte y Ciclismo CLTRS A.C., leading environmental awareness campaigns, and served in various capacities with organizations such as the IOM and the Organization of American States. César holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and has furthered education at The University for Peace and American University.
