Alyssa Sanders

Alyssa Sanders serves as the Foundation Executive Director for Butler County Health since January 2025 and works as a Public Information Officer for the State of Nebraska starting March 2019, where notable responsibilities included managing crisis communications for significant flooding events and wildfires. Previously, Alyssa held a Strategic Communications Specialist role at HDR from August 2022 to December 2024 and served as an Emergency Management Program Specialist II at Nebraska Emergency Management Agency from 2019 to 2022, overseeing emergency preparedness and response initiatives. Earlier experience includes positions as Deputy State Fire Marshal, managing fire prevention programs and serving as a public information officer, along with various roles in event coordination and risk management during academic pursuits. Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on Public Relations and Journalism from Chadron State College.
