Barbara Baier

Barbara Baier has extensive experience in grant writing and program development, currently serving as a Grant Writer/Program Development Specialist at Sacred Winds Native American Mission Church since August 2014. In this role, Baier focuses on programs that support Native American cultural preservation, benefiting Urban Indian families and children. Additionally, Baier has been a member of the Lincoln Board of Education since May 2005, where efforts center on equity and school climate issues. As a Grant Writer/Development Specialist for the Lincoln Arts Council since November 2002, Baier has contributed to the advancement of arts organizations through grant writing and training. Further expertise is demonstrated in a grant writing and administration capacity for the City of Lincoln, NE, since January 2001, providing services across various municipal departments. Past experience includes successful grant writing for the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska and a long tenure as Development Officer at Lincoln Action Program Inc. Baier holds a diploma from Bloomfield High School and attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln from 1976 to 1980.
